We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be a little nerve-racking, especially if you are not sure what to expect. Here are some answers to frequently asked questions to give you a better idea about what THRIVE is all about.
What time is our Sunday Service?
We meet every Sunday at 9:30AM and 11:30AM at THRIVE CENTRE.
Where do I park?
There’s plenty of parking.
If you are a first-time visitor, simply drive to our entrance door and wave to any greeters in red shirts. They'll help guide you to a great spot!
What should I wear?
Whatever you’re comfortable in.
What about my kids?
THRIVE is a family-friendly place. We believe children are precious to God. So we do our best to provide a safe environment where kids can learn about Jesus and have fun while doing so!
For infants, we have a nursery where parents can be with their infant children while watching the service broadcasted on closed circuit TV.
For children ages 3 to 11 years old, we provide age-appropriate environments where kids can learn practical life lessons about Jesus and the Bible and have fun while doing so! To learn more about THRIVE KIDS, click here.
(Please note that Thrive Kids is having a special summer program called “Summer at Richmond Oval.” Starting July 7, 2019, we’ll be hosting Thrive Kids program at Richmond Oval till the end of the August. For more information, click here.)
For children older than 11, we encourage you to bring them into the service with you.
Do I need to be a Christian in order to attend a service?
No! We are a diverse community. That means that some of us are just checking out Jesus and the Bible for the first time, while others of us have been going to church for years.
So come as you are, and we'll see you on Sunday!
